Some Things to Remember for Students:
· Please do your part to keep our campus clean. If you see a piece of trash on the ground, pick it up and throw it away. Your efforts will go a long way in doing your part to keep our campus grounds free of trash. If you’re looking for a great way to earn positive vibe tickets, grab an empty bucket and a picker placed out during lunch recess, and pick up some trash!
· Garden Classes will be starting soon! Make sure you stay updated on when Famer Erin will be hosting those Garden Classes.
· A lot of inappropriate language is being used during the junior high recess times. Please clean up the language use.
· A lot of 5th and 6th grade students are getting “handsy” with one another. Hands off means hands off. Please keep your hands to yourself.
· Come out and support the volleyball teams this evening. 7th grade starts at 4:00pm. 8th grade plays after.
Some Things to Remember for Parents:
· PTO is also currently taking signups for volunteers for this year’s carnival. Here is the link:
· If your child requires medication at school, it must be checked in a kept in the front office for safety reasons. If you wish for the school to distribute medication, we must have a doctor’s note on file.
· Volleyball needs some help for their tournament this weekend! They need help taking money at the door and possibly at the snack bar for both the Pacific Union School and the Arcata Community Center sites. Friday and Saturday shifts are available. If you’re looking to help please contact head coach Tish Osbourne for further information, or if you want to volunteer.
· If you would like to volunteer in our school garden, then you can contact Farmer Erin at epeterson@pacificunionschool.org.
So, with all of that, let’s go take advantage of the opportunity we are given today. Always do your best to be safe, be respectful and be responsible.
Remember, you have the power to make it a great day or not. However, the choice is yours.

Algunas cosas para recordar para los estudiantes:
· Por favor haga su parte para mantener limpio nuestro campus. Si ves un trozo de basura en el suelo, recógelo y tíralo. Sus esfuerzos contribuirán en gran medida a hacer su parte para mantener los terrenos de nuestro campus libres de basura. Si está buscando una excelente manera de ganar boletos de vibración positiva, tome un balde vacío y un recolector colocado durante el recreo del almuerzo, ¡y recoja un poco de basura!
· ¡Las clases de jardín comenzarán pronto! Asegúrese de mantenerse actualizado sobre cuándo la famosa Erin organizará esas clases de jardinería.
· Se utiliza mucho lenguaje inapropiado durante los recreos de la secundaria. Por favor limpie el uso del idioma.
· Muchos estudiantes de 5º y 6º grado se están poniendo "prácticos" entre ellos. No intervenir significa no intervenir. Por favor, mantén tus manos quietas.
· Ven y apoya a los equipos de voleibol esta noche. El séptimo grado comienza a las 4:00 p.m. El octavo grado juega después.

· Si su hijo requiere medicamentos en la escuela, estos deben ser registrados en un lugar guardado en la oficina principal por razones de seguridad. Si desea que la escuela distribuya medicamentos, debemos tener una nota del médico en nuestros archivos.
· ¡El voleibol necesita ayuda para su torneo de este fin de semana! Necesitan ayuda para llevar dinero en la puerta y posiblemente en el bar de la Escuela Pacific Union y del Centro Comunitario de Arcata. Hay turnos de viernes y sábado disponibles. Si está buscando ayudar, comuníquese con el entrenador en jefe Tish Osbourne para obtener más información o si desea ser voluntario.
· Si desea ser voluntario en el jardín de nuestra escuela, puede comunicarse con la granjera Erin en epeterson@pacificunionschool.org.
